Welcome to the Electrical Safety Council.

Most of us have a high dependency on electricity – it has become a natural part of our day-to-day lives. But for many of us, the wires and cables that supply power to our lights, washing machine and children's games consoles mean little and are something we seldom worry about.

However, we hope our website will help you understand the importance of electrical safety and give you a place to come for advice, tips or to find the right electrician for any work you may need.

One of our main aims at the Electrical Safety Council is to ensure that our message is not clouded by technical jargon and is easily understood – not only by the industry but, more importantly, by consumers.
